Social Media Content Creator

Takla Products is looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Content Creator to help grow and develop our organic social media presence.

We are a proudly South African fast growing automotive brand specialising in premium interior protection for bakkies, 4x4s and SUVs.

The role will involve creating engaging social content around our products, vehicles, customers, events, collaborations and day-to-day brand activity.

We’re looking for someone who can bring ideas to the table, identify good content opportunities and turn them into strong photo and video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage organic social media content
• Shoot and edit short-form video, photography and social content
• Assist with content planning and execution
• Cover relevant events, activations, collaborations and shoots
• Engage with and help grow our online community
• Keep up with relevant social media trends and content formats
   

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing a brand's social media
• Proven experience creating social media content
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
• Experience creating and editing short-form video
• Experience using Canva
• Good written communication skills
• Valid driver's licence
• Reliable own transport
• Ability to work from our Kyalami / Midrand premises and travel locally when required
   

Advantageous

• Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom or similar creative software
• Photography or videography experience
• Own camera or content creation equipment
• Experience in the automotive, outdoor or lifestyle space
• Relevant marketing, media or creative qualification
